Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's “Star For a Day”
Historic RCA Studio B Tour and Recording Session
Begin your day on famed Music Row for a tour of Nashville's oldest remaining recording studio, Historic RCA Studio B, "The Home of a Thousand Hits". This guided tour takes you on a journey through Nashville's recording past as you walk through the studio where Dolly Parton, Charlie Pride, and Roy Orbison among others recorded so many of their timeless hits. RCA Studio B was also home to more than 260 Elvis recordings, including "Little Sister," "It's Now or Never," and "Are You Lonesome Tonight." Gain insight into the recording process of the 50's and 60's and the development of the "Nashville Sound." The studio experience concludes in a recording session with a Music Row engineer.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Self Guided Tour
Next on your itinerary, visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. A renowned museum located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is the hallmark of Nashville's musical heritage. An ever-changing permanent exhibit features rhinestone costumes, seasoned instruments and tear-stained lyric sheets on a journey through Country Music that entertains and inspires guests from all over the world.
World Famous Wildhorse Saloon
From the Hall of Fame, your group heads a few blocks north to the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon for a dining experience like none other in Nashville. Minnie Pearl and line dancing lessons are just a few of the treats you are sure to enjoy at this Nashville hotspot. And just as you settle down to that world famous Barbeque, the surprise thrill of hearing the mornings recording coming through the restaurant's state of the art sound system, is announced as "Nashville's newest hit recording.”
