NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 12, 2015: AEG Live/The Messina Group presents nine-time Grammy Award-winning band Asleep at the Wheel Live in the CMA Theater, Nashville’s hottest new music venue at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. The band will perform on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 7:30pm and will be joined by special guest, Elizabeth Cook. Their tour is in support of their third tribute to the late, great king of western swing, Still the King: Celebrating the Music of Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys out now. With 22 tracks, their newest release includes Wills’ signature tunes such as “Trouble in Mind,” “Time Changes Everything” and “Faded Love.” Much like the Wheel’s earlier Wills tributes, the album boasts a flashy cameo guest list, from Old Crow Medicine Show to George Strait to Brad Paisley to Merle Haggard and many more.
