THE FALL

In August 1975, Hank Williams Jr. traveled to his beloved Montana to do some mountain climbing. While he crossed a snow field on Ajax Mountain, a rock shifted under him, starting an avalanche that carried Williams into a freefall. For five hundred feet, his body crashed against boulders and jagged cliffs.

Lessons in History

Hank Williams Jr.'s childhood home was located on land that was a Civil War battlefield. He dug up weapons, uniforms, and other artifacts dating back to the 1860s. His vast personal collection includes five cannons and scores of other weapons, ammunition, and artifacts.In this twelve-minute film, he talks about his passion for collecting while showing some of his favorite items.
