What is the price of admission for school groups?
Admission is $3.95 per student when visiting with a group. Metropolitan Nashville Public School students receive free admission for group visits. Payment can be made in advance or on the day of the visit.
How many chaperones can we bring?
Two adult chaperones per every ten students are admitted free. Any additional adults are expected to pay the standard $19.99 admission and are not guaranteed a tour guide.
How many students can we bring?
There is a maximum number of students for each program. For specific program information, click here.
Where should the bus driver park?
Bus parking is available on the Fifth Avenue side of the museum on a first-come, first-served basis. Paid parking lots are located directly behind the museum and across Fifth Avenue. Parking fees in these lots vary. For Historic RCA Studio B parking information, please contact the manager, 242-5167.
What types of tours do you offer?
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum offers many tours and programs. Teachers should select the program that is most appropriate for their students. For a full list of programs, click here.
How long does the tour last?
Tours and programs range in length from ninety minutes to two and a half hours. For information on specific programs, click here.
Can we bring cameras?
You may take pictures, but must turn the flash off while in the exhibit.
Can we purchase box lunches?
Low-cost box lunches are available to school groups. For information, please call 615-416-2046.
Do you have any opportunities for professional development? How much does it cost?
Free professional development workshops assist teachers in preparing students for participating in our various school programs. All workshops are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information or to make a reservation, contact the school programs coordinator, 615-416-2088.
Do you have any opportunities for homeschool families?
Homeschool groups of eight or more students may participate in any of our regular tours and programs, with the exception of Is It a Fiddle or a Violin?. This program offers two dates exclusively for homeschool groups on January 6, 2010 and March 17, 2010.
