Miranda Lambert bridges the gap between mainstream country and Americana with her fiery mix of Texas twang, rock & roll grit, strong songwriting, and marketable looks. In 2010, fans elected Lambert the Academy of Country Music’s Female Vocalist of the Year. She also became the first solo female artist to receive the ACM Album of the Year award, for Revolution.
