Country Music Hall of Fame Sunglasses worn by Ronnie Milsap on the cover of his 1993 album, True Believer.
Born in North Carolina 1943
Ronnie Milsap received classical music training as a child at North Carolina’s State School for the Blind. By the time the well-traveled musician moved to Nashville, in 1972, he already had R&B and pop hits under his belt. In 1974, “Pure Love” became the first of thirty-five #1 hits that kept Milsap’s up-tempo country-pop sound high in the charts for the next fifteen years.
