Write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Nashville-based performing songwriters Rachel Rodriguez and John Prestia will teach the fundamentals of songwriting, including form, imagery, and rhyme scheme. Participants will listen to a song by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill song to get the creative juices flowing. At the workshop’s end, participants will sing and record their song. Rodriguez is a multi-lingual artist and songwriter who performs and teaches throughout the Nashville area. Prestia is the longtime guitar tech for McGraw and Hill and they co-wrote “No One to Run With” for the Allman Brothers Band. Ages 7 and up.
