​Josh Kear has written thirteen #1 hits and won four Grammys, including Song of the Year and Best Country Song for “Need You Now” (Lady Antebellum) and Best Country Song for “Before He Cheats” and again for “Blown Away” (both for Carrie Underwood). Kear is the only person to win three Grammys for Best Country Song. He also wrote “Drinking Class” and “I Don’t Dance” (Lee Brice), “Drunk on a Plane” (Dierks Bentley), “Drunk on You” (Luke Bryan), “God, Your Mama, and Me” (Florida Georgia Line and Backstreet Boys), “Helluva Life” (Frankie Ballard), “Highway Don’t Care” (Tim McGraw), “Neon Light” (Blake Shelton), “Redneck Crazy” (Tyler Farr), and songs recorded by Gary Allan, Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffett, Lindsay Ell, Gloriana, Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Darius Rucker, and Hank Williams Jr.

This program, presented by SunTrust, takes place in the Museum's Ford Theater.


Attendees must have a Program Pass to guarantee admission to this event.

Program Passes are free with Museum admission or membership and distributed two hours prior to the event at the Museum's box office on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is general admission and limited.

Members-only benefit: Museum members may also reserve their Program Passes in advance by phone (615-416-2050) or via Reservations are accepted until 48 hours before the program, or until the program is at capacity.  Tickets reserved by members are available for pickup at the membership desk in the Museum’s conservatory.
