Songwriter Session: Jamie Floyd and John Martin (of Stranger Friends)

Jamie Floyd wrote “The Blade” (Ashley Monroe); “Mississippi Flood” (Hayden Panettiere); and songs recorded by Ronnie Dunn, Brian McKnight, Kellie Pickler, and Natalie Stovall & the Drive. John Martin wrote two songs recorded by Garth Brooks: “Cowboys Forever” and “Ugly Christmas Sweater” (with Trisha Yearwood). Floyd and Martin perform together as the duo Stranger Friends. They have recorded a self-titled EP (out October 20) and the soundtrack for the film Dog Years (coming in 2018).​

This program, presented by SunTrust, takes place in the Museum's Ford Theater.


Attendees must have a Program Pass to guarantee admission to this event.

Program Passes are free with Museum admission or membership and distributed two hours prior to the event at the Museum's box office on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is general admission and limited.
