Sunday, December 31, 2017 - 11:00am

The Buck Owens Show ran from 1966 to 1972, reaching seventy-seven markets by late 1970. Hosted by Buck Owens, alongside his ace band, the Buckaroos, the program showcased guest performances from West Coast hit-makers of the day, broadcasting the Bakersfield sound across America. This episode features the Blue Ridge Quartet gospel group, Merle Haggard, Bonnie Owens, and Buckaroos guitarist Don Rich. Haggard sings his original songs “I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can” and “House of Memories,” Buck Owens performs “Hello Trouble” and his #1 hit “Where Does the Good Times Go,” and Bonnie Owens sings “All of Me” and “I Know He Loves Me.”

The film, presented in support of the fiftieth anniversary of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, is screened in the Museum's Ford Theater and has a run time of 30 minutes.

Admission is included with Museum ticket or Museum membership. Seating is limited.
