Learn about the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s fifty-year history, in this highlight reel. In addition to footage from the 2001 grand opening in the current location and the 2014 expansion unveiling, this film montage includes vintage footage from March 31, 1967, the day the museum opened in its original location on Music Row. Featured moments include interviews with country music stars Eddy Arnold, Owen Bradley, Minnie Pearl, Webb Pierce, and Hank Williams Jr. One of the museum’s founders, then-CMA Executive Director Jo Walker-Meador, tours the museum and discusses some of the collection’s key artifacts.
The film, presented in support of the fiftieth anniversary of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, is screened in the Museum's Ford Theater and has a run time of 60 minutes.
Admission is included with Museum ticket or Museum membership. Seating is limited.
