Family Program: Contemporary Costumes: Shania Twain Style

Saturday, July 29, 2017 - 10:30am

The name Shania Twain is synonymous with style. Known for bold, empowering lyrics, the international country hit-maker is perhaps equally renowned for her daring, fashion-forward costumes. Participants will watch a music video, look at photographs, and visit the exhibit Shania Twain: Rock This Country. Aspiring designers will then have the opportunity to express their own styles by customizing costume templates and boots.

This activity, presented in support of the exhibit Shania Twain: Rock This Country, takes place in the Museum's Taylor Swift Education Center and is designed for guests ages 7 and up.

Admission is included with Museum ticket* or Museum membership.

*Youth from Davidson and bordering counties may enter the museum free as part of the museum’s Community Counts initiative. Up to two accompanying adults receive 25 percent off admission. Proof of residency required. For more information, please visit Community Counts or inquire at the museum box office.
