Family Program: Beginner Guitar Workshop: A Song from the 1960s

Program takes place:

• 10:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. 
• 11:15 a.m.–11:45 a.m.
• 12:00 p.m.–12:30 p.m.

Learn guitar basics and apply them to a song from the 1960s. Participants will practice easy chords and strum patterns. Musician and teacher Jimmy Olander will lead this introductory class. Olander is the lead guitarist for Diamond Rio. Guitars provided or bring your own. ​

This activity takes place in the Museum's Taylor Swift Education Center and is designed for guests ages 7 and up.


Admission is included with Museum ticket* or Museum membership. Seating is limited.
