Family Program: Beginner Banjo Workshop

Program takes place:

• 10:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. 
• 11:15 a.m.–11:45 a.m

Participants learn banjo basics, including a few chords and songs, in this hands-on workshop. Musician, educator, and recording artist Pam Gadd will lead this introductory class. Gadd’s touring and recording credits include work with George Jones, Patty Loveless, and Porter Wagoner. Banjos provided or bring your own.

This activity takes place in the Museum's Taylor Swift Education Center and is designed for guests ages 7 and up.


Admission is included with Museum ticket* or Museum membership.

* Tennessee children ages 18 and under from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties receive free museum admission as part of Community Counts: Museum Admission Program for Locals.
