Inspiration is all around. Many writers keep a notebook on hand to jot down ideas. Visual artists use a sketchpad to make drawings of the world around them. After looking at written material in the museum galleries, make your own artist book and decorate the cover—or leave it blank—in this introductory workshop. Use your new book in the museum to write about or sketch your favorite artifacts. What story about 2017 will you tell?
