Creative Zone: Dancing Dragons

Sunday, May 21, 2017 - 10:00am

Drop in anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The large dragon head in the exhibit Homegrown: Zac Brown Band was a costume prop used during the band’s stage performance of the song “Junkyard.” ZBB borrows from popular and literary cultures to create elaborate props and costumes. In this hands-on workshop, create your own paper dragon head. How would you perform with it?

This program, presented in support of the exhibit Homegrown: Zac Brown Band,  takes place in the Museum's Taylor Swift Education Center and is designed for guests of all ages.

Admission is included with Museum ticket* or Museum membership.

* Tennessee children ages 18 and under from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties receive free museum admission as part of Community Counts: Museum Admission Program for Locals.
