Four generations of female vocalists addressed the enduring influence of the late Patsy Cline in song and in personal remembrances during a ninety-minute concert before a sold-out crowd at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Alabama-based guitarist, writer, and composer Craig Dobbins has authored many instructional books and recordings about fingerstyle guitar and has contributed to the magazines Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic Guitar Workshop, Fingerstyle Guitar, and Just Jazz Guitar. Songwriter Tom Douglas wrote "The House That Built Me," a #1 hit for Miranda Lambert and 2010 winner of the CMA and ACM awards for Song of the Year. After trying for years, the Atlanta native landed his first hit in 1994, at forty-one, when Collin Raye went to #2 with "Little Rock." Since then, Douglas has piled up the credits, including "Grown Men Don't Cry," "My Little Girl," "Let It Go," and "Southern Voice" for Tim McGraw; "I Run to You" and "Hello World" for Lady Antebellum; and "Love's the Only House" for Martina McBride. He received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations as a writer of "Coming Home," sung by Gwyneth Paltrow in the film Country Strong. This interview and performance will be illustrated with vintage photos, film footage, and recordings. The program will be streamed live at CountryMusicHallofFame.org. Bang a drum, strum an autoharp, and pick a banjo! Our Musical Petting Zoo offers budding musicians a chance to try new and familiar instruments. Instructors will be on site to offer guidance. This program is part of the NashVitality Family Festival, a free day of activities promoting healthy living, offered in collaboration by the Mayor's Office of Children and Youth, Metro Parks, Metro Public Health Department, Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Nashville Children's Alliance, Nashville Kids' Triathlon and the YMCA of Middle Tennessee.
