  • Tree Lighting and Live Performance with Lonestar's Richie McDonald– FREE
    Friday, November 29 • 4:00 p.m.

    Kick off this year's Deck the Hall in style. Richie McDonald, lead singer of Lonestar, will put you in the holiday spirit with a live performance, followed by the lighting of the Museum's 30-foot Christmas tree. Don't miss this free event for the whole family.

  • WSM-AM's Coffee, Country, Cody, and Christmas
    Friday, December 6 • 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    Attend this annual live broadcast in the Museum's Curb Conservatory! Enjoy a buffet breakfast, live performances with Riders In The Sky, Baillie & the Boys, Sarah Darling, and Buddy Jewel, as well as the comedic antics of James Gregory. Tickets are available online beginning November 15 or at the Museum the morning of the show for only $6.50!

  • Sweet Dreams and Holiday Cheer with Mandy Barnett
    Saturday, December 21 • 2:00 p.m. .

    Mandy Barnett will perform songs from and discuss her new album, I Can't Stop Loving You: The Songs of Don Gibson. Barnett will also discuss her experiences portraying Patsy Cline in the production Always ...Patsy Cline, and her work with producer Owen Bradley. Selections from her 2010 Christmas release, Winter Wonderland, will also be featured. Museum admission or Museum membership required for program admittance. Limited seating. Program pass required.

  • Family Activities:

    • Photos with Santa Claus – FREE

      Children are invited to share their Christmas list with Santa Claus and pose for a complimentary photo. Timed passes are available in 15-minute increments. Pass pick-up begins at 9:00 a.m. that morning. Museum members may reserve their passes in advance.

      Create your own custom miniature instrument inspired by artifacts in the Museum. Choose a wooden cutout of a banjo, fiddle, guitar, dulcimer, or mandolin; decorate it with color, rhinestones, and glitter; then turn it into a magnet or holiday ornament.
